Can you believe it? It's been five whole years since March and Ash opened our very first store in the heart of Mission Valley. Today we proudly serve San Diego and Imperial from eight locations across the counties. From day one, our mission was clear: to create a cannabis dispensary like no other, a place where quality, community, and a touch of class come together. And let us tell you, these past five years have been an incredible journey filled with learning and growth.

March and Ash is more than just a dispensary – it's a hub of knowledge, a celebration of community, and a place where friendships are formed over a shared love for all things green. We have helped support our region through community involvement, food drives, sponsorships and events. We have even been lucky enough to have a few celebrity visits at the shops.

Helping the Community Grow

March and Ash has embraced a steadfast commitment to community engagement over the past five years, solidifying our presence as more than just a retail space. Our involvement with prominent events like California Mid-Winter Fair and Fiesta, San Diego Pride, San Diego EarthFair at Balboa Park, and the OMBAC Over the Line World Championships has been a true embodiment of our dedication to supporting and celebrating our local communities.

Through collaborations, sponsorships, and community involvement, we've stood side by side with these iconic events, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity, unity, and shared experiences. These partnerships have allowed us to connect with diverse groups of individuals, educate people about cannabis, and contribute to the vibrant fabric of our region.

These awards are not just symbols of accomplishment; they are symbols of the trust that the community places in March and Ash. We are proud to have earned this recognition and remain committed to upholding the standards that have led to such remarkable achievements.

Hanging with the Highcons

Over the past five years March and Ash has had the privilege of welcoming a few celebrity visitors through our doors. These star-studded encounters have added an extra layer of vibrancy to our already bustling atmosphere, creating moments that have resonated throughout our community.

Cannabis legends like Tommy Chong and Pato Banton stopped by our stores to meet our staff and customers. We were also honored to have Chris Cantore sit down and conduct one of Frenchy Canoli’s final interviews.

UFC stars Paddy the Baddy Pimblett kicked off his Paddy’s Baddies Pre-Rolls collaboration with Wonderbrett cultivation at March and Ash. We had Jaleel “Steve Urkel” White visit when the OGs at 710 Labs launched their Purple Urkel collaboration.

Hanging with the Highcons

Big Steve Parrish from the Grateful Dead spent the afternoon at March and Ash headquarters and even sat down with Hilariously Blunt host Walter Ford to talk about his collaboration with Grizzly Peak Farms, his time as the roadie for the Grateful Dead, and the legend of where Big Steve’s Egyptian Kush came from.

Fans of the cult classic film The Sandlot were lucky to catch Chauncey “Squintz” Leopardi in the shop. Leopardi currently has his own line of Squintz branded flower in a collaboration with Foreign Genetics cultivation.

These celebrity visits have not only highlighted our dedication to providing exceptional products and knowledgeable service but have also reinforced our status as a destination that attracts those who seek a top-tier cannabis experience. These memorable interactions have left an indelible mark on our journey, reminding us that March and Ash is a hub where even the brightest stars come to explore, connect, and celebrate the wonderful world of cannabis.

Pet and Food Drive

Throughout the past few years, March and Ash has been a driving force in promoting goodwill across San Diego County through a series of impactful initiatives. One such endeavor is our ongoing pet food drive, aimed at assisting the Animal Pad, San Diego Humane Society's Community Pet Pantry, and Humane Society of Imperial County. Our commitment to aiding furry companions in need has only strengthened, as these programs have evolved to provide even more support to our four-legged friends.

Moreover, March and Ash proudly continues its annual partnerships with Community Through Hope, Feeding San Diego, North County Food Bank, and Imperial Valley Food Bank. These collaborations have flourished, resonating deeply with the core of our values. Over the years, these initiatives have grown to make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity across our community.

As we reflect on the positive impact achieved thus far, we're fueled by a fervent enthusiasm for the ongoing growth and progress of these philanthropic joint ventures. March and Ash is committed to nurturing these partnerships with our nonprofit community allies, solidifying our role as a force for positive change in San Diego County. The journey is far from over, and we eagerly look ahead to the continuous expansion of these programs, ensuring that together, we can make an enduring difference in the lives of our neighbors in need.

Weed For Warriors Project Veteran Supply Drops

In 2023 we linked up with the Weed For Warriors Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting military veterans through cannabis education and safe access. This joint venture has been a transformative initiative that resonates deeply with the principles of compassion and holistic well-being. United by a common philanthropic mission, the collaboration has given rise to an innovative approach that addresses the physical and emotional needs of military veterans, championing their journey towards improved health and quality of life.
